Kabir Mehta is an award winning film director and screen-writer. 

 

Directed season 1 of CLASS, a Netflix original series, released worldwide in ’23. 

 

First non-fiction feature BUDDHA.MOV premiered at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, followed by an Indian Premiere at MAMI and a successful run on the international festival circuit. The film was released on MUBI. 

 

First short SADHU IN BOMBAY premiered at Slamdance Film Festival and has won multiple awards including best film at Ann Arbor FF, European Media Art Festival & Mammoth Lakes FF. The film was released on MUBI as well as The Slamdance Channel. 

 

Films have screened at Chicago Underground, Winterthur, Kassel Dokfest, New Orleans,  Dharamshala and other international film festivals.
